Walmart has managed to score 4,000 TMX Elmos and they are selling them for $39.95 every day at noon this week. Which is a great deal if you happen to have a toddler in love with the zealous red puppet and don't want to pay, like, $1,000,000 on eBay.
And, according to CNN Money, Walmart's sales have been less than stellar this holiday season.
So I ask you: coincidence or cynical marketing ploy?
