An Amazonian Sale

Not to be outdone, it looks like Amazon is ALSO having a huge end-of-season clearance sale up to 70% off (can someone pls inform me exactly what season is coming to an end?  It still feels like winter has a long way to go up here in the arctic tundra).

Nice deals on men's dress shirts, which seem to be at least 50% off.

Or, you can mess around with the measurements and see what's the longest sleeve length with the shortest neck size you can find.  No, don't wonder about the freak who would fit into such a thing...go short the stock of the company who would MAKE such a thing!

End of Season in Eddieland

Hey Joe! Gotta deal for the Missuz...

Eddie Bauer is having an end-of-season clearance.  And the prices are actually, well, pretty ok.  70% beats the living crap out of the paltry 20% off coupons that EB sends to its loyal customer base.  I mean, I'd much rather pay...$29.95 for this lovely Lilac Embroidered Down Vest than the retail $77-85.  Even 20% off retail means it was still $61.60 a few weeks ago.  All their outwear seems to be on sale and at really good prices.  Oh, and men too

Just an editorial comment, but their models, esp the male models, look like dorks.

Damn that's a LOT of Cheerios!

General Mills is giving away FREE GAS (well, $10 bucks anyway, which should get me about halfway to work in my fuel-slurping SUV).  Buy 10 of their products, which, aside from Cheerios & Soymilk, are about as healthy for you as my SUV is for the environment, fill in this rebate with the UPC codes and they'll send you a $10 gas card.

But if you are like every American household I've ever seen on a grocery database...you're already buying all these things, so why not get some free gas?

Art for Sale

Really interesting and cool gifts are up to 65% off at the MOMA Winter SalePosters from $2.99, like this unusual Cezanne Landscape for $3.99.

Calendars in January are a great deal.  Here's a whole year of Munch for the bargain price of $1.99.  'The Scream' would be just perfect for my office.

ANOTHER deal on shoes

Deal of 30% off on Spring sandals, tennies and dress shoes for the whole family at Payless. There is also a Payless coupon for $5 off a purchase of $50. Use coupon code PSS5OFF50. Offer expires 02/05/2007.

How cute are these ballet flats?  And a bag to match?

Body Beautiful

The Body Shop is having their semi-annual sale.  So you can be beautiful AND save the planet.

Vanilla Spice Body Butter
(sounds delicious...not sure if I want to eat it or have some gorgeous guy smear it all over me) is only $8 (reg. $17).

And the Golden Apple Shower gel is a steal for $3 (reg. $12).  So your husband can say, "Is that you or did the baby spit up her apple juice again?"

Walk this Way

Did you know that heart disease affects 1 in 4 Americans AND is the #1 killer of women?

Pfizer is offer a FREE pedometer as part of a heart-healthy lifestyle. You can use it to count the 10,000 steps a day you should be getting.  Personally I'd prefer those steps to be around a mall...

Aerotrash Strikes Again

Aeropostale's at it again.  75% off sale.  So if you weigh 100 lbs or less (or have teenaged children who do) -- click on over and poke around the clearance bin for deals on hoodies and the like.

And I am not joking about their sizing.  It starts at 00 and a "large 12/14" is a 30" waist.  Keep that in mind if you decide that these belts are worth a whirl.

Tea for Two

Since I lived in England for many years, I acquired a taste for Twinings tea.  And because I live with a Brit (ok, he's American now), tea time is still very popular around our home.

My favorite store in the world, Amazon, is offering some great prices on Twinings teas.  They have an amazing assortment, including k-cups for lazy people like me who can't be bothered to wait for a kettle to boil.  If you spend $29 (which isn't hard to do) and add the code TWININGS at the checkout, you can take $10 off the total.  AND since you've spent $25, you'll get it shipped for FREE.

Preppy Sale v. 2.0

Kate Spade is having a sale...up to 60% off!  Love her classic (if a tad pricey) styles. Aren't these the MOST adorable fur booties?  You must know someone who just had a baby :)

I'll be poking around the shoes for awhile, trying in vain to find my size.
