Ice Picks

Want a little treat for yourself?  Ice is taking 15% off everything in their cyberstore with code LS-ICESAVE, including sale merch.  As a pisces (Feb b'day), I have a natural preference for amethyst, so this eye-popping 2 3/4 amethyst ring caught my eye.  With the discount, it's only $297 and over 5 months, less than $60/month.

On the other hand, I really like white gold....and pink.  And I have a daughter born in September so this pink sapphire bracelet is a steal for $63.  Then again, this gorgeous little number is a 4 1/2 ct amethyst for only $165.75 after the discount.  Which is good through the end of August.  Green amethyst.  Who knew?

Poser

Thanks J, for letting me know that pink i-phone cases are on sale for $7 with free shipping.

Guess all I need now is the freakin' phone!

Our House (is a very, very fine house)

My decorator ordered an awesome gel fireplace from Astor Club last year.  Every time someone sees it, they comment how awesome it is...an invariably how much did it cost (why ARE people so nosy???).

So for the next 4 days, Astor Club is having an enormous sale on fireplaces and clocks, meaning you can get one for even less dinero than I spent on mine!    Personally, I'm drooling over this Howard Miller wall clock for my 1920's style living room.  Or a fireplace for the basement.

Or the new i-phone.  Wait, that's for me, not the house.  June 29th...6pm.  I have i-phone fever as described in this rather funny blog post about 5 ways to beat the stress waiting for the i-phone launch.

Not just about the clothes

Just to show SOME people that I do more than shop for clothes, Brookstone is sweetening their online clearance deals through June 30th, 2007, you can take $10 off your $100+ order with coupon code AF2JUNE, or take $20 off your $200+ order with coupon code AF3JUNE.

Personally I like to look at the ridiculous pictures.  I mean, really, can you just see your neighbor playing with this contraption without laughing your ass off???

Jonesen' for Janie & Jack

Last sale of the year for Janie & Jack.  There's something engagingly perverse about spending $88 on sale (reg. $116) for this yummy Janie & Jack American Patchwork outfit for a 1-year old: dress, hat, shoes, sunglasses...that she'll wear, well, once.  But heck, why stop there...drop another c-note on the Fiesta Flair collection!

If you prefer clothes to last more than a nanosecond before your baby outgrows it, J&J is extending their sizing up to an 8 with their back-to-school range available in late July.

With my 3 girls, I'm thinking it will be cheaper to tape $10 bills over their bodies instead.  Same effect, same cost.

Jammin' for Gymboree

My eldest daughter is growing up.  <sniff>

She announced that THIS year's wardrobe for going back to school will NOT be coming from Gymboree or any other 'baby store' but instead that we will only be shopping for her at Nordstroms and Limited Too.  Did I mention she's 8?  Don't know WHERE she gets it from...probably her father's influence.

Fortunately I have 2 more who don't have the, ahem, grown-up sensibilities of their eldest sister and who LOVE being dressed up in Gymboree's matching hats, socks, shoes, purses and any other overpriced accessory I can lay my hot little hands on.  And anyone who knows me has seen the power of matching clothes on my girls.

Now's the time to stock up at the 50% off sale. Love the Mixed Doubles and Strawberry Farm collections for girls.  Cute boys stuff too from the recent Salt Washed line.  It's going on in-store too because online sells out SO fast.

I Smell Another Sale

End of season sale at Trendy Togs.  Adorable Oilily swingy dresses and skirts up to 65% off regular retail.  Great resale value on ebay.  So you can buy them, hope that your children don't spill anything on them and resell them for as much as you paid.  It's like renting the clothes!

Lots of cute girls and boys items in a variety of sizes.  I know $70 seems a lot to spend on children's shoes...BUT...ok, I can't think of anything to defend the frivolity except to say that it is a LOT cheaper than $135!

Drool

Summer sale.  Ralph LaurenCollection. 60% off

In the Mens sale, there are quite a few men to choose from, so shop around.

Personally I was hoping the 'home' sale referred to the rather magnificent beach house, but apparently it means the obscenely overpriced bedding collections are ahem, affordable.

Credit Cards Ready?

FINALLY!  Retailers are understanding that sample sales can be online too!

Kate Spade is running a 4-day sample sale.  ADORABLE summer bags, up to 65% off!  Love this leather hobo Fulham Melanie for $169 (reg. $355) and the wickery-woven black Cadiz Lenora that would look wicked-hot with a white trousersuit.  Only $99 (reg. $295)!

Kate Spade makes luscious leather wallets that are worth every penny of their regular retail of $195...getting it on sale for $89 seems criminal!

Great deals on colorful diaper bags -- starting at $79 (reg. $195).
